As we transition towards a data-driven environment that allows us to ship features rapidly to determine how they can add value to our customers and then improve and refine these results, it's more crucial than ever that more people in the field aren't scared to get their hands up and take on new or untested technology needed to accomplish the task. However, this doesn't mean there is no need for experts. They will be. But it will become a greater demand for generalists in the field of custom software development Services. We've already seen this in the increase in the demand for full-stack developers over the last couple of years. In short, being a jack of all trades will become trendy in the near coming years of the workplace.

Here's a little bit of my personal story. I was the son of academic parents. Growing up in my teens, getting academic degrees was always one of my main goals. In the end, I viewed academic qualifications as one of the most important aspects to include on resumes. It wasn't until ten years into my professional life that I recognized the importance of having employees who work together and who are team players rather than people who are simply excelling in the classroom. It is not always inclusive. The reason collaboration skills should be considered a must-have instead of a nice-to-have is because, no matter how knowledgeable you may be, if you don't communicate your ideas effectively and aren't in a position to gain the trust of others, you'll not be able to advance at the same speed as the person. It is crucial to speed up new ideas in the near future of work.

In the past, when you worked hard and completed your work punctually without much supervision, you were thought of as a high performer. That is no longer the case, and it will become more apparent as time goes along. The self-starters who are willing to risk their lives and come up with innovative solutions for themselves will be preferred over task executioners who don't make a mistake and simply implement someone else's idea.


The ability to be entrepreneurial is likely to become the norm rather than an exception, and organizations will be expected to inspire this characteristic in their staff. Why? Because robots are able to perform repetitive tasks with better speed and accuracy than humans, but they'll never be the same as humans in terms of innovation.
